LOCAL AND NON-LOCAL
Brief and simplified discernment to complement the following research https://arxiv.org/pdf/2010.12019.pdf:
To properly or best develop and advance such efforts, "Consciousness" need to be better or properly defined. Natural consciousness means at the minimum, the following: 1.0 Has sentient characteristics and qualities. 2.0 For more evolved species, has subtle body-mind or emerging spirit-soul potentialities possibilities as part of the many sentient composite body-mind system. 3.0 Is created, arose, or emerge through natural living and experience process of being and becoming 4.0 Is inherent unique of individual (no one has same consciousness). And common collective species or equivalent species consciousness. 5.0 Is part of sum of parts of the greater whole or All That Exist and Ever Exist consciousness. 6.0 Is not limited to the known physical realm and world (even when machines can perform or have both local and non-local functions). 7.0 Is part of "Dependent and Interdependent Origination" and "Dependent and Interdependent Arising" cosmic topology, Structure, function, process, mechanism, and order. 8.0 For evolved species as mentioned in 2.0, has unique dynamic Universal Genome. 9.0 Machines have no mind. And never will. Mind here implies sentient mind. And means subtle body-mind as mentioned in requirement (and definition) 2.0. 10.0 Have evolution or life potentialities of possibilities beyond the known physical world. 11.0 Has essence, nature, and ground of being as requirement (and definition) in such as 5.0. 12.0 Is part of the essence, nature, and ground of nature as requirement (and definition) in such as 5.0 and 7.0. While machines have none of these traits and characteristics. And never will. Yes, machines consciousness can be developed. However, they need to be defined as machines consciousness (as a simple example https://www.epistemologyontologyfoundationinstitute.org/nature-decode/ai-many-composite-body-system) rather than elevate to human species level (or lower or regress human species to machines). Another way of saying is there should be common meaningful ethical, moral, and scientific based requirements and practices in developing machines and robots. And machines consciousness. However, machines consciousness should not be defined as rights or at the most, be clearly defined as machines rights. Otherwise, it would be mistaken for or falsely perceived as rights equivalent to sentient human species (even when many machines functions and tasks would far outperform human species). However, many human inherent potentials can never be performed or achieved by machines (at least independently from human species). In simple words, infinitely by far from being equal to nature creation through continuous evolution process of being and becoming. And as such, these reasons, causes, and opportunities initiated by https://arxiv.org/pdf/2010.12019.pdf (and alike or similar and related researches and developments) should inspire and encourage the global scientific, engineering, technologist, spiritual, philosophy, medical, humanities, humanitarian, human rights, and legal (and all related or relevant communities to the many issues, requirements, and works) communities to cooperate and collaborate to advance and accelerate the science of consciousness-mind. And as well as to provide proper and meaningful solutions accordingly. All the while help build better AI and machines for the common and greater good. And long lasting benefits and betterment to all in the known physical world. And beyond. |
