Consciousness and awareness is process of being and becoming as parts of sum of parts of the greater whole. And as such, arose from simple mechanics to quantum mechanics to spectra-field to sub-quanta to quanta to atoms to molecules to RNA-DNA to cells to multi-cells to tissues to organs to body to extreme primitive species ... to more evolved species ... and on and on to body-mind to more evolved body-mind ... and on and on in essential and meaningful parts of sum of parts of wholeness topology-structure-geometry and information, function-process-mechanism-order. Another way of saying is from dynamic and transformative simple physics to chemistry to biology to more complex physics-chemistry-biology. And beyond. And therefore, all these as irreducible parts of sum of parts of wholeness. In brief and simple words, nothing has its own intrinsic inherent independent existence in or as part of nature' epistemic and ontic.

And as such, reducing life and existence or universal process and mechanism of being and becoming to just physics, chemistry, biology, and formulas. And just as parts. And not taking consideration essential and meaningful wholeness topology-structure-geometry and information-function-process-mechanism-order would be incorrect philosophy and science from start. 

In saying ‘[Imaginary numbers] were there all the time. They’ve been there since the beginning of time. Otherwise, life and existence would not be possible much less quantum sciences can be discovered and practiced as had discerned in diverse ways in diverse past discernments. Another simple way of saying is if the epistemic and ontic are not parts or in nature' epistemic and ontic process and mechanism, then such consciousness and awareness as well as abilities and capacities potentialities of possibilities would not exist or be possible. 

And as an extremely simple illustration or analogy:

A gadget such as a mobile phone or computer can only operate and function in a system based on or cannot operate and function beyond its content or composition or hardware and OS, software, and applications. And as well as the system operation and function content for such abilities and capacities. And the gadget parts cannot function if their sub-components hardware and OS, software, and applications are not parts of the gadget sub-system content. Another way of saying is a gadget cannot function or function properly if the required content and function does not exist or not part of its system. And vice versa or if a gadget function properly, then required content and function existed. And as such, also illustrated the interdependent and interconnectedness of the parts as sum of parts of the overall system or whole. And as had discerned in diverse ways in diverse past discernments.
